Flour Friday

Ok – he’s at it again, but it has been a while . . .

Bit of a fuddle today. 4UKHost (as they call themselves these days – used to be Jomongee) didn’t update Nominet nor themselves that we had paid for three years of domain name (Warman.org.uk) and subsequently our website disappeared.  When they finally sorted it out we had lost the contents of the databases AND the recent backups – we (especially Mrs W who is looking after the latest version of our website) were NOT pleased!!

That’s now sorted, however the irony is that we are going to loose the weather station now and use the site to promote Mrs W’s designs for tee-shirts, and cards and things linking to the sales sites. Maintaining the station itself, let alone the cost of running the  now stand alone PC to update the website itself has become a bit too much in our old age.

Anyway:

We have recently had had problems with the bread-maker, and the size – over and under – of the loaves.  So we have been trying different flowers flours to see if this was the problem, and touch wood it seems to have been a contributory factor.  Even different ‘emergency loaves’ (they are for when we need to put a loaf on and have not got the spare three minutes extra to weigh out the ingredients!).

I have included the yeast so that we can rise to the occasion  (sorry).  On reflection perhaps that was . . . oh dear, sorry again.

For the occasion I have even hung up the green screen for the first time in the ten years that we have had it.  Maybe I’ll even try some ‘green screening’ one day when I get the creases out . . .

Apologies to Biker Bear for hijacking Flower Friday (sorry Anni).
