It's a Skyline MC hutmeet at Clapham  (Yorks) this weekend, so I called into Whalley Home and Dry on the way and bought a new pair of walking boots.

Saturday 28th
In spite of the forecast being doubtful, we had a wonderful 12 mile walk from Settle today, and then a meal at The New Inn in Clapham. My old boots were not comfortable today for the first time ever. I think they know I've got a new pair.

Sunday 29th
Torrential rain, more or less from the moment we got up, meant that we just cleaned and set off home.
