Early Birthday Treat

Our daughter makes a superb carrot cake and she made one today as an early birthday teat for her dad, as it's TJ's absolute favourite.  Fortunately we all got to enjoy it:-)

We all enjoyed "Downton Abbey" yesterday, too with Dame Maggie Smith stealing the show, as always!  The meal at the Balgove Steak Barn was fabulous and we declared we wouldn't eat for a week (that didn't last long!)

Miserable wet day today, but our son in law managed to enjoy a hack across the fields of Fife on a horse called Beauty, which was black of course!  Very jealous:-)
