Fading Fast

At least we get some colour now especially on a cloudy day. Uninspired for the most part, I was of course attracted by the bright magenta of these leaves on the turn.

I have no idea what the plant is, but it's not all that important. It was the colour and texture and arrangement. And the contrast with the roughness of the log and the soft gray green of the lichen.

The light was very low, iso high, noise high, shadows deep. Still experimenting with different sharpness settings.
