The replacement bits for the firewall arrived and I dutifully assembled it. Unfortunately, it wasn't just a matter of plugging in the old disk and the system had to be rebuilt and reconfigured. And obviously I didn't have a recent backup of the configuration. Ah well, all sorted now including faffy VPN.

It was an interesting experiment. We clearly spent too much time faffing around doing nothing useful online. It's just a way of killing time. But it is so hard to resist.
