Olympic Torch!

Backdated Blip 29

The morning the Olympic Torch left Salisbury was a gorgeous sunny one and I was out from 7.30, found a good vantage point and had the D700 and Nikkor 24-120mm on one shoulder and the D7000 with Tamron SP 70-300mm on the other, so I looked fairly paparazzi...

I was on duty for the city council and maybe local press, this particular image was emailed to the local town paper that this heroic torch-bearer came from. It's great to feel ever so slightly important on a unique day, one which I'll probably not witness again.
