At Uisgaban falls.

Took Rick out to hike at Uisgaban Falls to show him a bit more of Cape Breton, on his last day with us.   Here he is, climbing the big rock so i can get that traditional shot!

We got home around 5.30 pm, with an idea to get dinner going and for Terry to head out to pick up the young German girl who is coming to wwoof with us for the next few weeks.   Well that plan kinda got thwarted when we found a couple, sitting in their truck, in the parking lot!   Turns out Terry had mixed up the dates of their arrival.....it's always your worse nightmare....actually the really worst nightmare is if you double book someone....that hasn't happened...yet!!   This was more a communications issue, between Terry and Richard, so the cabin was available, just not ready for them to go to it!   So Rick and Richard dashed down to the A cabin, got it prepared, i made the quiche, and Terry came home with Henrike....only to be told that the propane for the stove in the cabin was out and had to be changed!   so off he went again.....finally, around 8.30pm we sat down to a wonderful dinner together.
