We got home today, but thought I would let you see some of the Albert Docks, for which Liverpool is famous.  Really nice area, with lots of eating places, and galleries, and some museums too.  I had seen all this in a previous visit with my sister, but it was all new to the HG, and he was most impressed.

Home now, with a stop at Gretna for some food, amazingly there were about twenty coaches there all with the same thing in mind, but the restaurants coped well.  Didn't do any shopping though!

Rain most of the way north, but when we reached Hamilton it was dry!
Had a good break, but as usual, it is nice to be home.   Will enjoy my own bed tonight...….
