Ready for the first day back to school

I always remember the misery of getting ready the night before the first day back to school after the holidays: delaying the inevitable, getting your school clothes and your school bag ready for the morning, having to go to bed early after all of those fun late evenings, those horrible fitful sleeps where you lie awake thinking you'll never get to sleep and be struggling to stay awake all day.

Good grief! Luckily, Molly is only in Reception and she's struggling to get to sleep because she' actually excited about going back to school. Phew.

It's also my first day back to work after the Christmas holidays... sigh. And booooo! Sleepless night on the way.
