Back on Scat Ness

The good weather of yesterday continued today (much to the surprise of the weather forecasters) - so I just repeated much of yesterday's timetable.  Morning on Scat Ness and afternoon at Sumburgh Head.

The only substantive difference was that in the late afternoon today, I packed up and headed for the boat south to Aberdeen.  Fortunately, the energetic waves had faded away by lunchtime, so I'm optimistic that I'll get a smooth crossing.

I was, briefly, tempted to replace yesterday's blip - this is what I would have swapped in just before midnight.
