Nice day for it.

Went to an annual Coffee Morning in aid of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Scotland. It was well attended again. Afterwards, we’d a walk by the edge of the fields and around the loch. Wet underfoot. Autumnal.

In the afternoon we went to the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship again. Busier than Thursday, part of the European Tour and prestigious Race to Dubai. It was a bonny afternoon, although cold - enjoyed my lightweight duvet jacket for the first time in months. In terms of the play we watched several of the pro-ams come and go at 17th green & 18th tee (we usually stand here). In the photo are Lee Westwood (in pink), with partner Ronan Keating, and Justin Rose with partner Justin Timberlake, (light shirt). Play was slow, all were delayed here each game. We also watched various others including Luke Donald, Tyrell Hatton, Alex Noren, Martin Kymer, Ernie Els, Tony Finau and at the 18th green watched Tommy Fleetwood hole out before we’d tea and scones at the Champions Grill - great as aye for a view of the Golf establishment and beach. And quiet. We missed Rory McIlroy... but enjoyed the scones.

This evening we popped outside to watch the Championship Saturday Evening Fireworks from our viewpoint. As a good as ever.... wonder what that cost!
