Boscastle

Just beyond the harbour, where the open sea begins.

I remember camping just up the coast in 2004 and seeing the storm clouds above Boscastle.There is remarkable footage of the ensuing flood in the National Trust Shop. Amazingly, our tent survived the night during which most other campers packed up and left. But at first light,  as the storm abated, our little tent just gave up and gently collapsed in a heap.
