Road works...

New drains are being laid along the main moat road.  However, it doesn't mean traffic hold ups or extremely slow traffic.  A red and white rope marks the edge of the trench as a warning and traffic passes by at a normal speed.    Bamboo poles are used to prevent the trench collapsing.  My extra shot shows the poles piled up ready for use.  Pedestrians cross the trench via metal or wooden plates.  Once again there is a distinct lack of safety equipment or high vis clothing.  Just out of vision an excavator was removing soil and the bucket was passing over the heads of pedestrians before the contents were loaded into a truck behind it.
