Owen's One

This time last year today seemed so far away that it was barely even possible. Through all the trials and tribulations of the last 12 months (especially those first three) we have lived by the TOF mantra of 'it does get better'. It's difficult at times to keep believing that but it is true. There will be more difficulties, but he's come so far already and always in his chilled manner.

So to celebrate his first birthday we had a few close friends and family around for a little bit of a party which Owen, as per usual, took in his stride. Plenty of fuss, cuddles, presents, playing and a brilliant Moon and Me cake* made by Louisa.

Here's to whatever the next 12 months brings...
