Cumbria Here I Come

By marpaul

The rain finally stopped this afternoon, so a wander around the garden looking for something to blip.   This pretty hydrangea was my favourite.  Popped down to the marsh at high tide to see how high it was.  It was over the marsh but didn't quite reach the road.  Misty enjoyed a paddle and the rain was starting to ease off.  Back down the marsh this evening and there's a huge tree trunk washed up.  Hopefully it will stay until the next high tides as I would love to blip Misty jumping over it.

Watched a programme earlier that I'd recorded yesterday about the Solway and featured Bowness on Solway and Port Carlisle where we often walk.  It was very interesting and informative.  Strange when you see somewhere you know well on the tv.  Lots of aerial images and good to see the Solway from a different perspective to normal.
