Vegetarian, moi?!

Today was Farmers Market day in Newcastle. It comes around every first Friday of the month and there's always a fine array of quality produce on offer.

My New Year's resolution 2008 was to stop buying meat from supermarkets - one of the best decisions I've ever made! All my beef comes from this stall (Westholme Farm Meats), manned cheerfully by Martin Bell (I think that's his name - will ask next month!). I had it in my mind that they were based up near Berwick, but a google search suggests they're in County Durham, near Barnard Castle. Anyway, today he had this wonderful looking whole rib of beef - very tempting!
