Days like today make it difficult to take one photo for blip.

ABSOLUTELY stunning day.

We got up early and left the campsite by 7am. 2hrs driving along the red roads of Fitzgerald River National Park and we arrived at the put in (picture). Gorgeous clear water. Almost as soon as we were on the water we had a seal jumping between the kayaks. A really windy day with big water when we got around the side of the headland.

Following the kayak we drove to West Mt something and hiked it, again so many gorgeous photos of the national park.

Once again I am in awe of the scale and sparsity of Australia. If you look on Google maps Fitzgerald NP looks like a tiny inconspicuous segment of the coast, but standing at the top of the mountain it was almost all we could see on all sides, untouched, natural land. It has amazing plant and animal life too. Of all the species of plant life in the world, USA contains about 6%, Western Australia 2.6%, Canada 1.6% and this "tiny" place has 0.8% of THE WORLDS known flora. So many unique bushes and plants.

In the evening we cooked together and sat around the fire.
