Quality graffiti

On the many occasions I have stayed at my son’s house over the past twenty years I have used a paved footpath to make the ten minute walk to the newsagents for a newspaper.

The footpath goes through a short underpass the walls of which have been popular with local graffiti artists. Now I am not against this art form if it is good. But sadly for many years the wall paintings were rather poor and often crude.

This morning walking through the tunnel was an inspiration. All down one side were large reproductions of paintings done by students at the local high school. The other side had art work provided by pupils at the junior school.
