Cloud and rain

Spent a few hours fighting the mombretia, docks and thistles which have the temerity to grow vigorously in our struggling wildflower area. LH tried to strim the other wildflower area, which grew exponentially in late summer, and has found our strimmer unable to cope. So we went out and spent money on a wheeled trimmer, basically a massive strimmer on wheels, and I fervently hope it'll spare LH a great deal of hard labour. We need to make this place much less labour intensive for the future if it's to work sensibly.

LD is coming to the end of a wonderful relaxing break with D - they so deserve it.
