Lunch with the family

Church lunch. Well over 200 sat down for a great hot meal. I enjoyed it particularly though because I was sitting next to some special friends who I don’t see very often.

One house guest left the homestead this morning, after a short stay, but another house guest has arrived this evening, for a potentially long stay.

He’s Turkish and I simply can’t get his name right, even though I’ve known him a year already. The z is an s and the o is an er and the an is not an an and the k is a k and all together, I get it wrong every time. He doesn’t help. :-) He just laughs.

May just call him Ozil instead.
