Workshop

Today I hosted a workshop for Douwe, an employee of the Groningen Landcape Foundation, who is retiring from work soon. The workshop was a gift from his coworkers and today we had planned to do the workshop at Harssensbosch, one of the locations the foundations owns. Even though the weather was horrible, Douwe and his son and daughter who were with him, enjoyed the workshop and I was able to learn them a thing or two about apertures, shutter speeds, ISO and some basic rules of composition. A great time for all!

I took this shot at the site, as an example of how one can use things like fences as lead-in lines, guiding a viewer through your photograph.
