Tradition

After a wonderful few days I'm still in Yorkshire!!  but we're home now after a very good journey despite being very watery in places.  Now it's time for tea, a piece of fruit cake and a slice of cheese (which we bought from the Wensleydale Creamery yesterday) .......

A classic tradition throughout Lancashire and Yorkshire is to serve rich, heady and dense fruitcake with a slice of fresh, zesty, crumbly cheese. It's a perfect match – no wonder it's become tradition! Small includes a small (410g) fruit cake and 310g Wensleydale; large is double the size!

Since being in Yorkshire I've got very behind with comments, sorry, rubbish signals  but now home I've backblipped MonoMonday yesterday and  will try to catch up with you all soonest.
