Porthgwidden Beach

Flora's wellington's made the cutest little marks on Porthgwidden beach.

The afternoon was closing in with the sun gently falling behind the houses that shield the top of Barnoon Hill, cooler now but still warm in our many tops.

The beach, empty and free, seemed thrilled to have us there, just us. We played in the sea, waves breaking over wellington's and our jeans and socks getting wonderfully wet. It didn't matter. It was a good day.
