Dropped in a Kaffeehaus in an outer district of Vienna yesterday and had a memorable and unique night of the Wienerlied (Viennese Songs). This Viennese music became popular in the second half of 19th century until the 1940s. The last 20 years a younger generation rediscovered the "music from and about Vienna", but - if you're lucky - you see the old guys ... (here Kurt Girk (singer) and Rudi Koschelu (contraguitar)

it's all about love, (poor, suburban) life, heaven - and wine ...

(if you're interested in more, this is a television report about the singer; only in german)
