Hearst Castle

After an epic 11-hour sleep we had a hearty breakfast before heading up the Pacific Coast Highway.

What a day, I saw a pelican and then wild turkeys by a lake where we lunched. A herd of zebra free ranging along the side of the PCH - that originated from Hearst Castle, which we also visited - simply amazing.

Then a beach of seals and finally hummingbirds flying all about us in the gardens of our cliff top hotel where we watched a stunning sunset. What a day!
