Abstract Boris

Abstract Thursday. Open Theme. Ingeborg.
There he is wrapped in a ball
Doesn't seem to move at all
Perhaps he's dead, I'll just make sure
Pick this book up off the floor

Boris the spider
Boris the spider
-John Entwistle, 1966
I thought this was abstract, as is, and scary, since we see very little bug life here. But he was in the lobby, and already quite incapacitated. The legs and his reach were long at one time, bringing food into his web.
Whether in the U.K. or the U.S. you can only feast on your inner circle for so long, before creatures with a longer reach catch up.
