Some little jobs...

...which have been waiting ages, have been started on at last.

Call me frugal, or even crazy if you like, but here I'm creating two cushion inners out of a wrecked pillow. I washed the pillow just the once, a couple of years ago, and it went all horrible and lumpy in the middle and today I found out why... there's a sheet of folded foam in the middle of the fleecy stuffing, which was obviously not washing machine proof and which has done nothing to improve my opinion of Spanish goods. I've also made covers for the 'new' cushions and mended a small rip in an old throw... almost invisibly.

My sewing machine is quite old. I bought it second-hand in the mid 70s from a sewing machine shop in Nottingham, and took it home on the bus!
