Poor Harvest

Our timing was good today as we managed to get the apples picked from our trees and tool them to the Cairn o'Mhor Wine farm (see Extra) just before the heavy rain set in.

A poor crop this year compared to last and many of the apple skins were damaged, but it doesn't matter when they are being pressed for the juice. 

There is still a whole tree full of big Bramley apples, but I don't know if they will get picked as I still have loads in the freezer from last year!
