Elusive Red Heads

We drove about 90 minutes west of Washington, DC to visit Sky Meadows State Park which is known for it's abundance of woodpeckers.  There were quite a few but always seemed to be buried behind a branch or a bunch of leaves.  I finally got this guy who had just finished dropping off some food.

Thanks for the comments and hearts on yesterday's Northern Flicker shot and glad to have had some time to enjoy the outdoors for a couple of days.
