Just Starting to Flower

Back Blip from Akaroa

Between the showers I refilled the bird feeders and took this shot of my Kōwhai that has just started to flower. When I arrived on Friday it was still tight buds. The birds are loving them along with the Kaka beak flowers.


It is really cold and there is still snow on the hillsides but luckily not on the road I need to travel on today.
