Stained glass - a first attempt .......

......... and probably a last !

Yesterday Mrs AMK had a fun outing with friends as a birthday treat for one of them to a stained glass making class.

In many ways she was dreading it and it certainly proved to be difficult especially cutting the glass and as can be seen the soldering was a real challenge ! She tells me she liked working the grinder.

Thankfully her friend Peebz stepped in to help rescue the blobs of solder and got a burned finger for her efforts . ( She blipped her stained glass flower yesterday).

I think there had been a lot of merriment and at least the birthday “girl” celebrating a big birthday had thoroughly enjoyed the outing.
