Autumn Abundance

We grew quite a few tomato plants this year. They all seem to be ripening at a steady rate at the moment. Although I still have quite a few of them that are still quite green.
Not sure if this is an old wife's tale, but I have been reliably informed that if you put some green tomatoes in a fruit bowl with bananas; they force the tomatoes to ripen. Apparently its due to the gasses the bananas emit.

Quite a lazy day today. We took a trip in to Newmarket to get some bits an bobs. I couldn't be bothered to cook, so picked up a takeaway on the way back.
