Back to basics

Accompanied No1 son to Stafford today to collect some parts for his 2CV van.  We always had 2CVs and both children learnt to drive in them.  Brought back happy memories of travel without modern necessities like electric windows and adjustable wing mirrors.  46 years old and it ticks along like a reliable sewing machine.  Very comfortable but noisy!  Lovely bit of nostalgia.  Also got treated to a bacon and egg sandwich and mug of tea at a proper cafe on an industrial site.  He knows how to look after his mother!
