A bit of family history.

One of my collection is this pack of cards produced for Eadie Bros. of Paisley. They were engineers to the big Paisley mills and the circular thing was, I gather, devised by my grandfather to improve the speed of the flying shuttle on the cotton looms. T K Powrie was a senior engineer with Eadie Bros and was apparently trusted sufficiently as to be sent down to London during WW1 to offer the company’s services to make munitions during the “Shell Crisis “
I still have a few of his old tools too, they are still being used after a century or so.
