Tiny Tuesday : Native

These oriental poppy seed pods show a subject that fascinates me, the structure of plants.
I love red oriental poppies, and they attracted a lovely number of bumblebees to my garden this spring. I wasn't sure where they originated, although the clue is in the name, they're not a British plant.
It seems they're native to the Caucasus region.
I'm glad they made the journey west.
