Dolly in the Pharmaziemuseum

We spent the day in Basel today, posted our postcards, always fun. We spotted the pharmacy museum in our first day, so of course we had to go back. It was fascinating actually, some really interesting displays and lots I had no idea about. Afterwards we walked out to the paper-mill museum. They are a working paper-mill, handmaking paper the old fashioned way. They are currently hand making sheets for a hand written bible that a church are writing from old manuscripts, so much work. This museum was so much fun as you get to make your own paper, marble paper, have a go at stamping and calligraphy. It was so fun I forgot to take any pictures inside but I will post what we made later. After all that excitement we headed back to the house for dinner and to get packed. Early flight and we need to drop the car off beforehand. Great trip though.
