A shaft of sunlight

A couple of friends and I made an early morning start to go running in the Lake District fells. We'd had a worrying 10 days as our friend had been in a bad accident, so we needed the time out running to clear our minds. We got to the summit just as a shaft of sunlight found its way through the thick clouds. This light represented not only the first sunlight to reach the Lakeland fells for some days, but also a posative sign for our friend's recovery. We turned to watch the light as it danced on the fellside, then found it's way to the valley below.
