Viper's Bugloss and friends

Our second day of the July monitoring visits to Whitemoor Marshalling Yard. The rather damper weather we've had this year meant that everything was flowering prolifically - this is a classic brownfield combination of viper's bugloss, perforate St. John's-wort, weld and teasel - a wonderful colour combination and providing lots of pollen and nectar for insects.
