Best Laid Plans......And All That

Clare and I left Gussie to look after Joshua and we set off for a weekends camping at ‘Oktoberfest’ in the grounds of the River Dart Country Park.
First stop - Route 38 for an ‘East Coast’ Breakfast which contains the much maligned and soon to be outlawed fried bread!
On to Plymouth and a well known outdoor store to purchase a Cadac Safari camping system, not just to use over the weekend but for our planned trips in the future.
Next stop was in Ermington where I explained what needed doing to mine and my Great Uncles medals including digitally enhancing a photograph and mounting in display cases.
We arrived, set up and went for a walk with Mark and Paul arriving at the bar around midday.
The following nine hours passed with A lot of laughter, lot of fun and a lot of beer, most of it two pints at a time in German style steins.
