Ridgeway Path.

Lovely walk along part of the Ridgeway path this morning. Always breezy at the top, but spectacular views across the Vale. In the extras is the view towards Mentmore Towers, one of the Rothschilds manors. The other is the view towards Whipsnade zoo. The light is in the wrong place to see the loin carved out on the hillside.

The Ridgeway runs for 87 miles, half of it runs along the spine of the Chiltern Hills where we are lucky to live on the edge of. The western trail is recognised as England's oldest road.

Came home, made some potato and leek soup .... I love winter soups! Then groomed the dogs. I popped out and spent far too much on a new handbag that I've had my eye on for a while.
