BackBlip Sardinia/Corsica trip : Bonifacio...

Day 11 of our Sardinia/Corsica vacation  :


This was the last day of our tour on Sardinia/Corsica and was full of (short) stops. We started with a stop where the sun shined very beautiful on the tops on the mountains; then a stop on top of the Col de Bavella, where was a small statue called “Notre Dame des Neiges; then we stopped to see the biggest tree of Corsica. In Zonza we held a longer stop for a coffee-break and again a short stop at the lake Ospedale, what is the only reservoir lake on Corsica. Around 1.00 PM we reached Bonifacio in the North of Corsica, a nice small city with an old city wall, where we had some hours to look around and took at 5.00 PM the ferry back to Sardinia. The last photo-stop was above Palau, which seemed to be a nice city, but we hadn’t time to visit (the visit was planned in the original tour, but our Dutch tour guide decided Palau was not interesting enough to visit)… @ Sardinia/Corsica, Italy/France
