We found....

....the beach. 

A drive the following day took us to Pattaya and Jontiem.  The beaches here were crowded.  As we couldn't find anywhere to park we drove on.  We had lunch at a beautiful resort.   Hubby had a cheese and ham sandwich and I had a club sandwich as featured in my extra.  It was raining by the time we got back to our hotel.   On the way back we skidded on the wet road and hit a car.  Our car is drivable.  After spending an hour at the police station waiting for our insurance agent and paying a 500 bht fine, we decided that we just wanted to go home.
