Cheesegrater, going up.

A busy day doing consultancy in London. On the train in from Bristol the dawn light and sunrise were great, but by the time I surfaced from the tube in Liverpool St, all was grey and overcast and it stayed like that for the rest of the day.

On the walk to the hotel that evening, as the light was fading, there was a little splash of colour contrast in the scaffolding and steelwork of the new "Cheesegrater" building, a Richard Rogers design being built at 122 Leadenhall Street, opposite Rogers' Lloyds Building. This is the north and west faces of the building, seen from Bishopsgate.

Best I could do on what was, from a photo ops perspective, a pretty bad day.
