Charlie

Charlie is a Timneh African grey parrot (Psittacus timneh) and a rescue companion bird to Ellie
 
Not to be confused with the Congo African grey parrot, Charlie has the run of a large room and sang happily for me while posing.
 
These birds are not captured from the wild but bred under strict conditions just as other domesticated pets such as dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, etc.
