That time of year

After waiting for the rain to end G and I started on the hedge cutting.  First the Leylandi and then the Laurel - although not our hedges they have to be cut back on our side. Then the clearing up - G took three very large bags to the tip so we could continue in the back garden with the other Leylandi hedge and five Conifer bushes.  Again another three large bags destined for the tip.  Why do we have these I ask myself - they have been there since we moved in 30+ years ago and G will not get rid of them!!!
