Roasted......

......beetroot. It makes it earthy & delicious. Done with olive oil, s&p and fresh thyme. R was baking bread so the Rayburn was nice & hot.

Neighbours for a coffee closely followed by S and eldest grandson E. Great to see them all (but exhausting!). S helped R move some things out of the house & then they shifted the lighter tower scaffold around to the back of the house.
