surprisingly - the rose bushes out front - survived the recent snow storm - fairly well, whereas i thought - for sure they would’ve - been decimated they stood up - like true rose survivors - delighting me in the process - it means that there continues - to be a bright splash of color - in front of the building - welcoming not only residents - but visitors, too

and the moisture has - created this lovely colored patina - to the rose petals - you can tell if you look closely - as i’ve done nothing - to the picture - other than a simple crop - it’s the best of all things - and what leads to...
