Canning Stock Route / camels

We arrived at the Desert Oaks campsite late afternoon. Super to be back here, such a beautiful place.

One of the tagalong drivers got bogged on a dune today and had to be winched over. One of his spare tyres was stored under his vehicle, so when we got to Lake Tobin everything was removed from the back of the vehicle and the tyre put in there. Problem solved, we hope.

There was a beautiful blue flower we saw today, which I've not seen before - photo in Extras. Anyone know it? It's name is on the tip of my tongue .....

PS - I've been sent the name of this lovely bush - it's the tinsel bush.
