Marlborough (Friday 11th October 2019)

Whenever I go to Marlborough I always visit Kennet Place to visit the Waterfront Gardens that are looked after by Val Compton who lives in one of the Waterfront cottages. I sometimes have a take-away coffee there but this was not the day for that.

I did not know it at the time but that day the In Bloom competition results had just been announced with Marlborough In Bloom receiving a Gold award, and the Waterfront Gardens recognised as Outstanding. Well done to Val and her helpers.
