Fancy it's a cormorant.

I'm reasonably sure this is a cormorant, rather than a shag. The extra is a less arty but more revealing shot. I had to catch it quickly, as it would suddenly and repeatedly disappear, only to reappear about thirty seconds later, much further down the river.
